Kit arrived, got neighbour to help unload along with Gary and his son. Few parts missing, Seats, tyres and handbrake lever, also as you can see in the picture, the wrong cycle guards were supplied, I asked for black and orange were supplied, so Gary took these back with him and will send on the correct coloured ones as ordered.

Engine new Zetec 2 ltr already in the garage along with the Webber throttle bodies. J

All Kit laid out in the garden, chassis already in the garage. Spent a couple of hours sorting out and putting all the bits away, as it looked like it was going to rain.

Made a start building the car and got the following cut to shape drilled including chassis ready for riveting, but will leave the actual fitting until I no longer need access to the tunnel.

Drivers side tunnel panel and foot well. (made the mistake of cutting this for the inside of the chassis, and needs to be fitted on the outside for the floor mounted pedals)

Passenger side tunnel panel and foot well.

Also decided to make a template for the back panel as this is quite large and needs to be right.
